Vinise is a proud generalist with a career spanning the startup ecosystem, carbon accounting, and the music, film, and advertising industries. Her expertise lies in strategic and inclusive program design, project management, monitoring & evaluation, partnerships, and facilitation. However, at the core of her work is a deep commitment to gender equity, justice, and systems thinking. In her role of Implementation Support, she manages key operational tasks that support a smooth delivery of our surveys to workers around the globe and is grateful to be contributing to listening to workers.
Before joining &Wider, Vinise was Chief of Staff at Humanity Link where she gained insights into SaaS operations and the intersection of technology and humanitarian impact. Prior to that, she worked with SecondMuse to support and scale companies to reduce ocean plastic pollution while improving the livelihoods of informal waste workers across the South and Southeast. Beyond her professional work, Vinise is deeply committed to human rights, particularly in the areas of anti-trafficking and modern-day slavery. She has volunteered with Project X, a Singapore-based organization advocating for the rights and protection of sex workers, Transient Workers Count Too where she supported male migrant workers in Singapore with food and educating them on their rights, and was actively involved in EmancipAsia, a nonprofit focused on raising awareness of modern-day slavery.
Originally from Singapore, Vinise is based in Friesland, the Netherlands with her fiancé and two cats. She enjoys cooking, making art, hosting dinner parties and, when not working, can often be found reading, knitting, or exploring the Dutch countryside by bicycle—though only in the summer! At markets, eating poffertjes and supporting local creatives brings her joy.
