Whose data matters? Answering this question has driven Jen’s career as she focused on reproductive health and human rights for refugee and internally displaced people, violence against women and children, aid in emergency situations, and now workers in the global supply chain.

Prior to joining &Wider, Jen lived and worked in the U.S., Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia, Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, Sri Lanka, and Iraq with humanitarian relief NGOs, multilateral institutions, and sexual and domestic violence service organisations. Her work focused on developing and managing programmes, fundraising, and research.

In her capacity as Director of Partnerships, Jen gets to focus on listening and finding points of synergy with people who are invested in supporting human rights and improving visibility of working conditions along global supply chains. What excites her about this work is the collaborative nature of working toward better visibility and impact in global supply chains. She is also moved by the stories that data tell.

Jen holds degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles and Columbia University in international development, global public health, and international affairs. In quiet moments, she loves a good book, to work through complex recipes, and to explore the woods. She lives in North Vancouver, BC with her husband, daughter and slightly anxious dog.
