Cuito is a technology enthusiast with an interest in positive socio-economic change driven by innovation, which is what drew him to &Wider initially as he resonated with their unique approach to tackling the issue of human rights abuse along global supply chains. 

Having studied Computer Science at the University of Cape Town, he went on to work for Mobenzi developing applications for use in the health, education and agricultural sectors. From there he transitioned into a job in the music industry, managing artists and doing logistics for events and festivals, after which he started a graphic design and web development company called On The Loose, which helped multiple brands with their identities and business development strategies. After a few years of running On The Loose, he began to seek work aligned with his social conscience and found his way to &Wider, where he has helped in the development and deployment of a completely new and refreshed online web application ecosystem, as well as the conceptualisation, development and deployment of multiple features optimising internal business operations and improving the client experience.
